The Deed of Settlement makes provision for ‘Relationship Redress’ requiring the Crown and MIST to engage and uphold individual relationship agreements and responsibilities. This includes various Crown entities such as (but not limited to):

To ensure the Crown fulfils its responsibilities under the settlement and that Moriori settlement redress is upheld and protected, the relationship redress aims to strengthen Moriori-Crown relations and foster collaboration.
